The website enables you to make donations for charities through the BetterNow fundraising platform.
Any personal information you specifically provide when donating to a charity is processed by the charity you choose to donate to, in their role as data controller and in accordance with the selected charity’s privacy policy which is linked to whenever you donate. BetterNow is ‘only’ data processor in this case.

If you have donated money via a fundraising page, your personal information will be deleted from our database at the earliest 6 months after the fundraising page is deleted and the latest 2 years after the fundraising page is deleted. If you have donated, but not via a fundraising page, your data will be deleted at the earliest after 6 months and at the latest after 2 years. The charity may keep your personal data for longer, please see their privacy policy.
5.5. In cases where you have provided your tax registration number for obtaining a tax deduction, this will be deleted after the tax authorities latest deadline for reporting tax deductions.
6.2. You may at any time require correction, objection or limited processing of your personal information.
6.3. You can at any time delete all of your personal information. Simply click the red button labelled "Delete my account" from your profile page.

- We register your IP-addresses through the use of cookies, this is for analytical purposes in order to optimise the Website, fraud & security investigation and fraud prevention.
